PUMPKIN ICE CREAM RECIPE

 

Pumpkin Ice Cream Recipe

14 oz can of pumpkin
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/2 cup maple syrup
1 cup milk
2 cups whipping cream

In a saucepan, combine the cream, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger, cook over low heat until it is just heated and add the pumpkin puree, brown sugar and maple syrup into the mixture.  Let mixture cool and pour into Ice Cream Maker for freezing.
