PUMPKIN ICE CREAM PIE

 

Pumpkin Ice Cream Pie

1 quart vanilla ice cream -- softened
3/4 cup canned pumpkin
1/4 cup honey
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1 baked 9-inch pie crust -- cooled
1/3 cup chopped pecans
Whipped cream -- (garnish)
Pecan halves -- (garnish)

Combine first 8 ingredients in mixing bowl and blend well. Pour into pie crust. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Freeze until serving time. Garnish with whipped cream and pecan halves just before serving.
