PINEAPPLE ICE CREAM SANDWICH RECIPE

 

Pineapple Ice Cream Sandwich Recipe

Serve Vanilla Mousse between slices of Yellow cake. Cover with Crushed pineapple.

Vanilla Mousse: Beat 1-1/2 cups cream until
light and beat in gradually 1/4 cup sugar, 2
tablespoons corn syrup, 1-1/2 teaspoons
vanilla and Few grains salt. Put in refrigerator
pan and freeze.

Basic cake recipe: 1/3 cup butter or shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1-3/4 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla

Cream the butter or butter substitute, add sugar and continue creaming. Add well beaten eggs. Mix and sift the dry ingredients and add alternatively with the milk. Add flavoring. Bake in layers at 380 degrees for twenty minutes. Any good filling and frosting may be used. The batter may be varied by adding nuts, coconut, spices, etc., and may be baked as a loaf cake.
